MIPS: How do I improve my Advancing Care Information (ACI) score?

Advancing Care Information

Advancing Care Information is a 25% weighted score category and includes Meaningful Use objectives. Not all ACI measures are calculated from our EHR and are based on self-attestation.

Each objective has a maximum assigned point value which is multiplied by the percentage of met requirements for that objective. For example:

  • Met Requirements = 3/17
  • Maximum point value = 10.0
  • Awarded score = 3/17 * 10.0 = 1.8 points
  • MIPS score contribution = 1.8 points * 25% = 0.45 points

For measures that are self-attested, simply click on the 'Claim Met' button to include that measure's point value into your final calculation. Clicking or not clicking the 'Claim Met' button will not affect your true MIPS score and is only used as a tool to help you understand how your MIPS score stands.
