Menu 3: Imaging Results

Objective

Image results consisting of the image itself and any explanation or other accompanying information are accessible through CEHRT. 

Measure

More than 10% of all tests whose result is one or more images ordered by the eligible professional during the EHR reporting period are accessible through CEHRT. 

  • DENOMINATOR: Number of tests whose result is one or more images ordered by the eligible professional during the EHR reporting period. 
  • NUMERATOR: The number of results in the denominator that are accessible through CEHRT. 
  • THRESHOLD: The resulting percentage must be more than 10% is order to meet this measure. 

Exclusion

Any eligible professional who orders less than 100 tests whose result is an image during the EHR reporting period; or any eligible professional who has no access to electronic imaging results at the start of the EHR report in period.

How To (Website):

Step 1: Open up a patient's chart from Patient Lists or use the spotlight search:

Step 2: Next, click on "Clinical Dashboard"

Step 3: Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click "Imaging Orders": 

 

 

Step 4: You will be presented with the following screen:

 

 

Step 5: Click "New Order" to enter and order for your patient:

 

Step 6: Enter an order and click "Submit"

Step 7: Next, to edit an existing order, choose from previously entered orders in the "Imaging Orders" list, enter the appropriate results values as indicated below and click "Submit":

In this example, we've updated the "Order status" to reflect a results value of "Results Received":

Step 8: You can now see that the results are updated for the imaging order in the "Imaging Orders" section of the screen:
