You may have noticed some additional information when submitting eRx through drchrono. We've added more information so you can see more of what your patient's insurance covers before submitting the prescription. Read on to better understand this additional information!

At first glance, Send eRx may look the same from the website
But enter a medication and the changes will become obvious!
You'll immediately see information next to the medication name. Click "Show/Hide Legend" to reveal what they mean.
Once you choose a medication, a new box will appear on the right that had three different tabs.
If you can't access any one of these tabs it's because there's either no alternative drugs, no copay information, or coverage information. This can vary from drug to drug based on the patient's insurance plan.
