How to log a phone call from the iPhone EMR app

The drchrono mobile EMR app makes it easy to quickly log in phone calls and attach them to the patients communication log. 

Logging in a phone call:

1.  Select the three pronged menu bar in the upper left hand corner.

 

2.  Under the "Patient" section select "Log Phone Call."

 

3.  Type in the information you want.  If you choose you can include any charges related to the phone call under "Cash charge (optional)."

 

4.  Select "Save" in the upper right hand corner.

 

5.  The information will now be saved under the patient's "communication log" through the online platform.  If you want to view the logged phone call or any past logged phone calls on your mobile device follow the steps below.

Viewing logged phone calls:

1.  Select the three pronged menu bar in the upper left hand corner.

2.  Under "Patient" select "Chart History."  Ensure you have the patient you want selected.

 

3.  Select the "Phone Logs" on the right hand side.  

 

4.  You will be able to see any phone calls logged in for your specific patient.
