Creating an appointment through the Check-In app

This tutorial will guide you through several ways to create an appointment through the drchrono Check-In app.  Lets get started!

Creating a second appointment for a patient: 

From the main screen select a patient from the appointment list who already has an appointment (located on the left hand side).  From this screen select "New Appointment."

A pop-up screen will appear where you can set the appointment.  From here you can choose an appointment profile, select the office for the appointment, the exam room, the specific provider, reason for visit, and a time and date.  

Once this information is completed select "Confirm" if finished or "Confirm & Start Onboarding" if you want to onboard the patient at this time.

 

Creating an appointment by searching for a patient: 

Start by selecting the three pronged menu item in the upper right hand corner. 

Under the "Patient Search" box start typing in the patients name you wish to create an appointment for.

 

Select their name.  A pop-up screen will appear where you can set the appointment. From here you can choose an appointment profile, select the office for the appointment, the exam room, the specific provider, reason for visit, and a time and date.  

Once this information is completed either select "Confirm" or "Confirm & Start Onboarding" if you want to onboard the patient at this time.

 

Creating an appointment for a new patient:

Start by selecting the three pronged menu item in the upper right hand corner. 

Select "Add Patient."

A pop-up box will appear.  Fill out the required information and select "Confirm."

Another pop-up box will appear asking if you want to schedule an appointment, select "Yes."

A pop-up screen will appear where you can set the appointment. From here you can choose an appointment profile, select the office for the appointment, the exam room, the specific provider, reason for visit, and a time and date.  

Once this information is completed either select "Confirm" or "Confirm & Start Onboarding" if you want to onboard the patient at this time.
