How to Bill a Different NPI for a Specific Patient

This article will show you how to enter an additional NPI for a specific patient.  This is useful if you have two billing NPI numbers used for the same provider.  

1. Log into your drchrono account.

2. Select the "Account" tab and select "Offices".

3. Click “+ Add New Office” & enter all the necessary information.

4. Click on “Billing” >enter the facility NPI# (Box 32a in HCFA 1500) and Billing NPI (Box 33a in HCFA 1500).

5. Once it is updated please go to the appointment and link the appointment to that office.
