In the EHR app, you can order lab tests just as you would with the browser EHR. To begin, navigate to a patient's chart and tap on their name. From the dropdown menu, select Labs.
A list of your previously ordered labs will appear. To send a new lab test, tap on the ()button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
A form will appear that allows you to fill out the details of your lab order. Here you will need to enter who to bill, the specimen collection date, any ICD-10 codes, notes, the ordering provider, your office, and the name of the lab to send to. You can select from your favorites.
You can also select the lab on the bottom half of the form. Tap on this box to search for the test you would like to conduct. You may select multiple tests by selecting the '+' button. To save a lab as a favorite tap the star ()icon
After everything is filled out, select Submit to send your lab order. To verify that your lab was sent, you may select Lab from your patient chart to check that the lab you sent is now in that list.
