A very important piece to setting up your account with DrChrono, is establishing EDI and ERA connections with your payers through clearinghouse Waystar. Here is how that process works -
- Shortly after your kickoff call with your DrChrono Implementation Specialist, you will be contacted directly by a representative from Waystar via email.
- They will schedule a call with you to review your account setup within the Waystar system. They will gather information from you regarding the payers you will be submitting claims to and will submit the enrollment requests on your behalf.
- Your Waystar enrollment representative will work with you to ensure that all of the payer requirements requirements are met, such as additional forms required by the payer.
- Your Waystar representative will keep you informed as to the status of the requests and when they are finalized and you can begin submitting claims.
