In the EHR app on your iPhone, you can order lab tests just as you would with the browser EHR or iPad.
Labs can be accessed through the patient menu () in the appointment window or by searching for the patient. Select Labs to start the order.
A list of your previously ordered labs will appear. To send a new lab test, tap on the ()button in the upper right hand corner of the page.
A form will appear that allows you to fill out the details of your lab order. Here you will need to enter who to bill, the specimen collection date, any ICD-10 codes, notes, your office, and the name of the lab to send to.
You can access your Favorite labs by tapping the () icon. Your saved favorites will appear in another window for you to select. To add a lab to your favorites select Add to Favorites.
After everything is filled out, select Submit to send your lab order. To verify that your lab was sent, you may select Lab from your patient chart to check that the lab you sent is now in that list.
