You can add detailed self-identifying demographic information for race and ethnicity to a patient's chart. DrChrono offers a comprehensive list based on CDC guidelines.
Navigate to the patient's chart and select the Demographics tab. Click the Race Subcategories Options.
You can scroll or search to find the option(s) in the list.
After selecting the options, scroll down and select Save Demographics.
Once saved, the information will appear in the patient's chart.
This information will also appear in the patient's C-CDA export data.
