The EHR/EMR app is an essential tool in your charting process and can be customized to your needs. To customize the EHR/EMR app, you will need to access your browser-based EHR. In the web version of DrChrono, you have three customization tools:
- The Form Builder: Changes the content of your templates as well as the content that is populated into your clinical notes.
- Complete Note Format: Changes the order of the content that is populated into your clinical notes.
- Form Reorder: Change the order of the templates arranged from your template selection pane in the EHR/EMR app.
Access the Form Builder by mousing over the Clinical tab in your navigation bar and then selecting Form Builder. To use the form builder, select the types of fields you would like to use in your form and add them to the center. Here you can click on the element to rename the item and edit the text that is generated in your complete note when the template is used. When you are done with your edits, hit Save. Select the Clinical tab in your navigation bar and then select Complete Note Format. To change the order of the templates in your complete note, drag and drop the templates to the order you would like to use. Hit Save when you are done.
Access the template builder by mousing over the Clinical tab in your navigation bar and then selecting Form Reorder. To change the order of the templates displayed on your iPad's template selection page, drag and drop the templates to the order you would like to use. Hit Save when you are done.
