Taking Clinical Photos on the iPhone in the Clinical Note

In the EHR/EMR app, you may take advantage of your iPhone's camera to take pictures of your patients' afflictions and attach them to a clinical note and/or share the images with your patient.

To begin, you will need to have a free draw field in the form you wish to use. You can add this in the form builder. For more information see our video here.

To take a photo using your mobile device, you'll need to have a free draw field on one of the templates you'll be using during your appointment. Find that template and tap on the free draw field.

Within the free draw field, on the bottom navigation bar, select the (Free_Draw_Plus_Icon.png)icon to access the camera.

After selecting the camera button, your mobile device's camera will turn on and you'll be able to take a picture for your clinical note.

You can use the tools to mark up or comment on the photo. Tap Save when finished.
