If you electronically prescribe controlled substances in more than one state, you can add more locations to your DrChrono account with help from our Support team.
Before adding more locations, you must have already enabled eRx and EPCS for one location.
Once you complete your initial verification and setup for EPCS with ID.me, you must create a support case. Our team will set up these offices for you after we have all of the information.
In most cases, you will need:
- Provider's name
- DEA number for each state
- Physical address for each location
You need additional prescribing locations
Create a support case with the following:
- DEA number for new state
- State license number for new state
- Location address for new state
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Addresses of current locations you want to retain
You need to replace your current prescribing location with a new prescribing location
Create a support case with the following:
- DEA number
- State license number
- Location address
- Phone number
- Fax number
- Location address to remove
You need to remove a prescribing location
Create a support case and provide the following information for the location you want to remove:
- DEA number
- State license number
- Location address to remove
