Adding an Implantable Device to a Patient's Chart
Follow the steps below to add and manage an implantable device in a patient’s chart.
Step 1: Navigate to the Implantable Devices Section
- Open the patient’s chart.
- Scroll to the Implantable Devices section.
- Click Add Implantable Device.
Step 2: Enter Device Information
- In the UDI field, enter the device’s Unique Device Identifier (UDI) in GS1 format.
- Click Check UDI.
- The system will populate the device’s information automatically.
- Review the details and make any necessary edits.
- Click Save to add the device to the chart.
Step 3: Edit or Delete the Device
- To edit the device information, click the pencil icon.
- To delete the device, click the trash can icon.
