DrChrono has partnered with Iron Bridge to help connect our primary care and immunizing providers to all state immunization registries with one integration. Through this partnership, our customers will be able to easily and quickly connect to their practice’s state registry to submit applied and historical vaccine data as well as query for the below to meet MIPS and state reporting requirements.
This article is separated into two parts. Part 1 - enrolling with a state registry. Part 2 - workflow once integrated with Iron Bridge.

Provider contacts state registry to inform of their plan to start electronic data exchange and reporting using Iron Bridge and DrChrono (see sample verbiage below).

I'm reaching out on behalf of <your company name> to begin the process of starting up an HL7 integration for vaccine reporting via our vendor Iron Bridge in partnership with DrChrono (EHR).
We plan to transition to an HL7 electronic interface by <estimate timeline>, and we've been instructed by Iron Bridge to reach out to you and request new credentials for this purpose, specifically: <registry specific credentials>. Please let me know if you are the right person to assist with this request or if there is additional information that is needed.
- The state registry will give the provider a separate set of credentials or inform the provider to use their existing credentials.
- DrChrono will enroll provider as a new facility in the Iron Bridge portal.
- DrChrono enables the feature.
- Provider enters Bridgeway ID (provided by DrChrono ) via office settings.
