DrChrono has recently updated its telehealth interface. While the changes are minor, they make the experience more intuitive.
One of the most notable differences is in the layout. All of the visit controls are located in the same place. The video visit screen is increased to take up the full screen and all of the tools for controlling the visit and the options menu are in the same place. The patient's name, date of birth, phone number, and email are displayed in a window in the top right. We will take a closer look at the new layout below.
When telehealth was updated to version 2, the "copy link" option was missing. This has since been corrected and the "copy link" functionality is now also available in version 2.

You will receive a success message when the link is shared.
The full-screen button ()will enlarge the video visit to take up your entire screen.
The options ( ) button is also used to save screenshots and access consent forms.
Select Save a Screenshot to take a photo of the patient.
Enter a description and any tags and click Save Screenshot. The photo will be saved in the Documents section of the patient's chart.
You can now also create a new appointment from the video visit screen on the iPad:
You can view already signed consent forms or assign consent forms for the patient to sign during the visit. Select Consent Forms from the menu.
To assign a consent form during a visit, click on the dropdown menu and check the box next to the consent form(s) you would like to add.
