How are my claim submissions charged to my account?

DrChrono will not charge for any electronic claim submission to an EDI Medical Payer that goes through eProvider Solutions (ePS).

    • If you use the payer ID that starts with PRNT/EPRNT/GPRNT/HPRNT, those will be sent on paper instead of electronically and will be charged.
        • If the claim is going to a medical payer through eProvider Solutions (ePS), the charge is $0.78 per claim.
        • If the claim is an auto accident or workers' compensation claim submitted through Carisk Partners (fka iHCFA), the charge is $1.50 per claim.

  • If you want to avoid the additional charges, you can always print the HCFA/UB04 and submit it to the payer outside of DrChrono. You can find details on how to print claim forms here.
