Overview
The EHI Export product provides self-service access to export data from DrChrono at a practice or patient level in accordance with the 21st Century Cures Act.
Users who have the EHI Export permission enabled in DrChrono will be able to select the data they wish to export. Once the request is processed, you will be able to download your ZIP file(s) from within the EHI Dashboard.
What are the benefits of this functionality?
1. Users can perform an electronic health information (EHI) export at any time without creating a support ticket for assistance. The export file(s):
o is created in a timely fashion.
o includes all the EHI data export for a single patient.
o is electronic and in a computable format.
o includes a publicly accessible hyperlink of the export’s format.
2. Practices can limit users who can perform an EHI export using one of the following methods:
o grant a set of users the ability to perform the EHI data export.
o grant system administrator(s) the ability to perform the export.
