OnPatient is a patient portal developed by DrChrono EHR to connect providers who use DrChrono as their electronic health record (EHR) with their patients. To create an OnPatient account, you will need to contact your healthcare provider and request an OnPatient invitation. The invitation will be sent to the email address associated with your patient chart.
You can independently create an OnPatient account by accessing the OnPatient web portal at onpatient.com. If you choose this route, you must ensure that the email address you use to create your account matches the one you have given your healthcare provider. You will still need to request an OnPatient invitation from your provider to connect their information to your account.
Once you have accepted your provider's OnPatient invitation, you will need to verify your identity through your Date of Birth + Phone Number, or Social Security Number. You will also need to create a unique password. Once your identity has been confirmed, you can view your health history, schedule appointments, make payments for outstanding balances, and facilitate open yet secure communication between you and your doctor via online and mobile methods.
