Setting up Favorite Prescriptions

Setting up your favorite prescriptions is easy to do in DrChrono and can save you time when e-prescribing. There are two ways to save prescriptions to your favorites: you can save them as you create prescriptions from the Send eRx screen or you can set them up in the eRx Settings menu.

Saving Favorite Prescriptions in Send eRx

To add a prescription to your favorites while in the process of prescribing, check the Add to Favorites box when you have completed the prescription.

Next, click Preview Prescription.

When you select Send Prescription, it will save to your favorite prescriptions.

Saving Favorite Prescriptions in eRx Settings

Go to Account > eRx Settings.

Under the Favorite Prescriptions tab, you can manage all of your existing favorite prescriptions and add new ones.

Click the () and select medication.

Enter the information and click Save.

To edit the prescription select the pencil icon (). Click the () to remove the prescription from your favorites.

Using Your Favorite Medications

Now that you have added your favorite prescriptions, select the medication from the Favorite Medications dropdown.

You can also set up prescription profiles after you have saved your favorite prescriptions.
