Enhancements
Health Gorilla Access from Patient Chart and Clinical Notes (iOS)
Providers with an active Health Gorilla account can now access Health Gorilla directly from the patient chart drop-down menu and the Plan section of clinical notes. This seamless integration makes it easier to view and interact with Health Gorilla data within the DrChrono iOS app. The option will only appear for users with enabled Health Gorilla accounts.
Improved Diagnoses and Code Editor Experience
The following fixes enhance accuracy and improve the coding workflow.
- Diagnoses codes are now correctly numbered sequentially for easier selection.
- The billing section no longer displays the incorrect "Active/Black" label appended to CPT/HCPCS descriptions, preventing truncation of descriptions.
- The Code Editor popup has been resized for better usability.
- The modifier popup within the Code Editor is now taller, allowing easier scrolling and selection.
Synchronized Warning Icons in Billing Code Editor
We resolved inconsistencies with warning icons by ensuring that any warning shown on the Billing screen now also appears in the Billing Code Editor. Warning images are now consistently displayed for the same codes across both screens, improving clarity and reducing confusion.
Resolutions
Consistent Task Notification Counts
We’ve improved the task notification system to provide a more consistent experience. The notification badge on the Tasks icon will now accurately match the number of Open Task notifications, ensuring clearer visibility and alignment across the platform.
Insurance Card Photo Upload
We’ve resolved an issue that prevented insurance card photos from being uploaded and saved correctly. You can now successfully upload your insurance card image, and it will be securely stored in your profile as intended.
Task Badge Count Now Syncs Across Devices
We fixed an issue where the task center badge count was not updating correctly across multiple devices. Now, when a task status is changed on one device, the badge count will sync in real-time on all devices without needing to log out and back in.
Pre-filled Macros Missing on iPad After Update
The issue causing pre-filled macros to disappear on the DrChrono iPad app after the latest update has been fixed. Macros will now correctly populate when charting clinical notes, matching the experience on the web version.
Resolved Crashes Related to DRCurrentUser File
We identified and fixed an issue causing the app to crash on some devices due to the DRCurrentUser file. This fix eliminates the crashes reported in recent weeks, ensuring a more stable and reliable experience.
Resolved Vitals Section Crash (Index Out of Range)
We fixed an issue causing the app to crash in the Vitals section due to an index out of range error, which affected multiple devices over the past two weeks. This update improves stability to prevent these crashes.
Prevented Crash After Inactivity Lock
We resolved an issue where the app would crash after logging back in following 30 minutes of inactivity. Now, the app properly navigates to the login screen and resumes without crashing, ensuring a smoother user experience.
