When billing claims to a payer, it can sometimes be helpful to see what information was on the claim when it was billed. There is a section in the Billing Log that shows exactly what was on the claim. When you send a claim, the details are captured and stored in the Billing Log.
Select View 837P and View HCFA/UB04 to see the details transmitted.
The Payer Claim Control/ICN number (Insurance Claims Number) and the Provider Tax ID number appear in the details.
