An important measure of a practice's financial health is the time between rendering services, adding charges to the appointment, billing the payer for the appointment, and receiving payment for the associated invoice. DrChrono has developed a report that allows you to quickly see this information using various parameters. You will be able to see the information by provider, office, payer, and date of service, among other parameters.
To find the report, navigate to Billing > Charge Lag Report. The report will display the information in graph and table form.
- Payment Lag - time between the date of service and payment received
- Send Lag - time between the date of service and billing to a payer
- Charge Lag - time between the date of service and charges entered on the appointment
