✨ Enhancements
Unified Problems View in Clinical Notes
We’ve improved how patient Problems are displayed and managed in Clinical Notes to ensure consistency across the app and web.
Previously, Problems shown in Clinical Notes could differ from the Problems module in the patient chart. With this update:
- Clinical Note > Assessment > Problems now matches the Problems module used in the main chart and web.
- Problem lists are consistent across all areas of the app.
- Users can filter and sort problems by name or date diagnosed.
- The interface has been simplified:
- “Add Problem” is now accessed via a + button.
- Editing via pencil icon has been removed.
- Problems can now be deleted by swiping left.
- Active, inactive, and resolved statuses remain available and function as before.
- All problem codes are shown in a single unified list.
- Updates to problems are now tracked with audit history for better traceability.
Recently Viewed Patients in Search (iPhone)
We’ve improved the patient search experience on iPhone by adding quick access to recently viewed charts.
With this update:
- The search screen now shows the last 5 recently viewed patients.
- Each entry is clickable and opens the patient chart directly.
- The list updates automatically as new patients are viewed, always keeping the most recent 5.
- Recently viewed patients are saved and persist even after closing and reopening the app.
This brings iPhone search behavior in line with iPad for a more consistent experience across devices.
🐞 Resolutions
eRx Patient Info
We’ve made updates to help ensure your electronic prescriptions (eRx) are sent successfully.
Previously, some prescriptions could fail if certain patient details—like address or phone number—were missing or incomplete. With this update:
- A Country field is now available in patient demographics on mobile (iPad, iPhone, and Mac).
- Required patient details (such as address and phone number) are easier to review and complete before sending prescriptions.
- Patient address fields will now adjust automatically based on the selected country (for example, non-U.S. addresses may not require state or ZIP code).
- Existing patient records may be updated automatically if information is already available in the system.
Growth Chart Access
We’ve fixed an issue affecting Growth Charts in the EHR mobile app.
Previously, when opening Growth Charts on iPhone or iPad, users could be redirected to a web page showing a “page not found” error. With this update:
- Growth Charts now open directly within the app.
- The 404 error and unwanted redirection have been resolved.
On-Demand Eligibility
We’ve fixed an issue affecting on-demand insurance eligibility checks in the app.
Previously, when users triggered an eligibility update, the system would show a loading spinner but no updated information was retrieved. With this update:
- Eligibility checks now run correctly when requested.
- The “last updated” indicator reflects the most recent results in real time.
- The loading spinner now accurately represents an active update process.
Video Visit Email Requirement
We’ve fixed an issue affecting video visit scheduling in the Check-In and EHR mobile apps.
Previously, users were able to create video visit appointments even when a patient did not have an email address on file, which did not match web behavior. With this update:
- Video visit appointments now correctly require a patient email address.
- If no email is present in the patient chart, the appointment cannot be created.
- Mobile behavior is now aligned with web rules for video visit scheduling.
Battery Optimization for iOS 26
We’ve made improvements to help reduce battery usage in the DrC EHR app on iOS 26.
Some users experienced higher-than-expected battery drain after updating their devices. With this update:
- The app has been optimized to reduce background power usage on iPhone and iPad.
- Battery-intensive processes have been reviewed and improved.
- Overall performance has been adjusted to be more efficient on iOS 26 devices.
Macro Search Popup Stability (macOS)
We’ve resolved an issue affecting the Macro Search popup in the EHR app on macOS.
Previously, some users experienced the search window closing immediately after entering text, which made it difficult to search for and insert macros. With this update:
- The Macro Search popup now stays open while typing, allowing for a smoother search experience.
- Search input is processed more reliably across different keyboard types and input methods.
- Stability has been improved when using external keyboards and iPad-connected setups.
- To close the Macro Selection tool and return to “View Completed Note,” users must press the ESC key or click anywhere outside the macro selection window (macOS only).
As part of this release, we are continuing our ongoing work to assess, monitor, and address any security vulnerabilities.
