The insurance and eligibility screen is found in the patient's chart under the Demographics section > Insurances tab. This screen displays all active and archived insurance records, and allows users to run and review eligibility checks.
For each insurance category (Standard, Hospital, Auto Accident, Worker's Compensation, and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) there are options to add, edit, or archive an insurance payer. Historical information is also viewable.
- The first icon, the clock, shows historical eligibility information.
- The second icon, paper, shows historical insurance information.
- The Add Insurance box allows insurance information to be added to the patient's account.
