  • Obtain patient consent: Always inform patients that the conversation is being recorded for documentation purposes
  • Add visit context: Taking a few seconds to type or dictate the chief complaint improves note accuracy
  • Review before sending: Always review the generated note for accuracy and completeness before sending to DrChrono
  • Provide feedback: Use the feedback features to help the AI learn your preferences and improve over time
  • Check microphone settings: Ensure your microphone is positioned properly and test audio levels before starting
  • Use quiet environments: Minimize background noise for the best transcription quality
