Why is the legacy Form Builder being retired?
The old tool was built on older technology that’s hard to update. Our new Clinical Form Management tool lets us release improvements faster and support upcoming United State Core Data for Interoperability (USCDI) v3 requirements. The legacy tool can’t support those updates and would become non-compliant.
What happens to my existing forms?
Your forms stay exactly as they are. You don’t need to migrate or recreate anything — they already work in the new tool.
Will the new tool look or feel different?
The workflow is the same, so it’ll feel familiar. The interface is simply cleaner, more modern, and easier to navigate.
What new features are included?
You’ll get everything you use today, plus:
- A rich text editor to format text without HTML
- Preview mode, so you can see your form before publishing
- Better performance and long-term stability
Do I need to do anything before December 16, 2025?
No action is required. You can switch over anytime and start using the new features right away.
